How/When to Use:
The CPR disposable mask allows for one to perform CPR without the fear of blowback such as saliva, vomit, water, etc. First, one must determine whether or not the patient is breathing, if not, insert the oval end of the valve into the patient’s mouth. Pinch the shield over the patient’s nose and hold the sides in order to form a proper seal. Begin resuscitation via the valve. You should observe the chest rise and fall and continue with CPR practice.
